Gentlemen:
Last Friday, four members of my family were lucky enough
to take a trip to New York City where my daughter was performing
with her high school choir at Carnegie Hall. None of us
had ever been to New York before, and we were pretty intimidated
by the place and didn’t know where to start in our
sightseeing efforts.
How lucky we were to find your desk at our hotel, the
Grand Hyatt. Your employees Arlene and Christopher were
the most helpful people we met in New York. Arlene
was able to get us tickets for that nights’ performance
of the Odd Couple, which we enjoyed immensely. Christopher
suggested we take the Gray Line buses and told us tickets
were good for 2 days. We toured the first day, then the
next day we took the bus again and got off at the stops
where we wanted to see more. Christopher also gave us tips
on getting a cab after the play, and was kind enough to
find the CBS store and their hours, then called our room
to tell us how to get there.
Our trip to New York City was very much enhanced by your
employees, and we just wanted to thank you and them for
such wonderful service.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Betty R. |

Subject: Big thank you to Jonathan
Dear Jonathan:
Just wanted to thank you again as I am getting excited
to leave for NYC tomorrow a.m. Thanks to your help yesterday
afternoon, I am able to realize my dream of taking my daughter
and son-in-law to Broadway. You got me great seats to the
Thursday performance of Spamalot and definitely eased the
sting from being scammed out of tickets from a bogus online
ticket agency. Your graciousness and willingness to listen
were icing on the cake of scoring those tickets at the
last minute. Please know that you and your staff have made
it possible for two college theater grads and their mom
to have the experience of a lifetime. My daughter is a
stage manager and her husband is a lighting tech…and
this will be their first Broadway show together. Thank
you, bless you, and please feel free to contact me for
additional recommendations to potential customers. I will
write again when I return….Joy |

Good Morning,
I hope you
don’t mind me emailing. I stayed at the Double Tree Hotel back
in December with my sister’s and cousins. We had a female family
reunion. While I was there we found out I was expecting and we were so
excited that we completely forgot to thank Jason for all of his help while
we were there. It wasn’t until we all got together to look at pictures
that it reminded us of what a wonderful time we had and what a vital role Jason
played in that. I would personally like to tell you what a marvelous
job Jason did for us. He made our stay much more enjoyable than we could
have ever imagined. Except for one of us we were all first timers in
New York. You can imagine what a handful it is to please nine women. Jason
gave us great directions, great shopping spots, and even sent us to this exceptional
Italian Restaurant for dinner. He was even nice enough to call the restaurant
when our cabs took us to the wrong place. I realize that as a Concierge
it is Jason’s job to provide excellent customer service but it is very
seldom when the person takes the job to the next level exceeding in expectations.
I would like to thank you for your time and please send
our best regards to Jason and tell him to keep up the good
work.
Thanks,

and Michelle. |

Anne and Liliana , thank you both for helping me with the details for my
parents stay at the Milford. Your support with the Limo and gift basket
and flowers was so wonderful...
Liliana , I received your phone message....and was so impressed!! Your
customer service is extraordinary!! I teach customer service at my
organization...and will be using my experiences with both you and Anne
as examples for my classes going forward.
Finally, and most importantly to me, my parents were so delighted with
the special care you provided them during their stay at the Milford.
This was an important trip for them. 55 years ago they both worked in
Manhattan, my mother a gift wrapper at Macy's and my father a New York
City cop... They loved New York, but then moved to LI to raise six
children. They worked hard, then moved to Florida in retirement...(like
most good New Yorkers do)...ha ha. Their visit to NY was
magnificent...and YOU both made a difference..
On behalf of my brothers and sisters and myself, thank you, we are
forever grateful.
Next time I'm in NY I will be stopping by to say hello and personally
thank you both.
With appreciation for a great job,

Hi Kory,
Just wanted to let you know that we had a terrific weekend. The
show was great, food was better, and hotel was nicely located
to everything. Thank you so very much for all your
hard work and effort that you put into the package. I
know I had some special circumstances, and you were able
to meet and exceed each one of them. I have already
recommended you to two other people, and will continue
to do so. If you would forward me the name and address
of your supervisor, I would like to send him/her a letter
explaining how accommodating you were.
Thanks Again for Everything,

This note is a little late, but I wanted to thank
you for making the arrangements for me for the weekend

year old girl. We enjoyed shopping, eating, museums,
and visiting the sites of New York.
I appreciate your service.

I wanted to thank you and your staff for making our recent
trip to New York such a wonderful one. We stayed at the
Westin NY Times Square and your service representative (I
believe his name was Tony) was wonderful. He had some excellent
recommendations for theater and tours and his suggestions
(which we purchase tickets for) were right on the mark.
We saw WICKED and CHICAGO using your services and the plays
(though expensive) were fabulous. His recommendation for
a two day pass on the double decker red bus was perfect.
We used this double decker bus trip to get our bearings
and then used it as our primary method of transportation
(other than walking) to get around NY. The hop on and off
feature saved us on taxi fares and provided us with a quick
way to buy our 2 for 1 theater tickets at Seaport Village.
Again, our sincerest thanks to your staff for a wonderful
job with professional and gratious service.
Sincerely,
Lucinda J.

Hi Kory –
I just wanted to drop you a note
to tell you my wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time
last weekend. In fact, my wife wanted me to let you know
that this trip fulfilled a life long dream of hers to see
a Broadway show ON Broadway – I guess I just got lucky
on that one! The Sheraton was great, the meal at Alfredo’s
was fantastic, and Wicked was positively thrilling! I will
be more than happy to recommend you and your service to
anyone considering a trip to the Big Apple.
Thanks for all your help, and for
putting together a truly memorable trip for us.
All the best,

Nicole,
I am sorry for my extended time in emailing you to "THANK
YOU" for all that you did for us. We went straight
into the hurricane evolution and that has kept us busy as
you have seen in the news. The Marines truly enjoyed the
bus transportation that you set up for us and it worked
out perfectly. The drivers were there everyday on time and
kept us on our timeline.
I am sending you something in the mail from the squadron
as a token of our appreciation. I know that we will eventually
come back that way and I will call upon your services again
if you are still there. Again thank you so much for all
that you did for us.

Dear Kory:
Hi, Kory! I wanted to thank you
very much for helping to make our trip to New York so special.
We had the most wonderful time! Everything worked out beautifully.
We loved the location of the hotel, its’ proximity
to Grand Central Terminal and even the Grand Central Market
which was very handy! The shows we saw were amazing. My
husband and son thoroughly enjoyed being in Yankee Stadium
to watch the Yankees play our Toronto Blue Jays. It was
a great day! Please thank your ticket manager as well, Kory.
His recommendation regarding the baseball tickets was excellent.
The guys were over the moon. My son, Jonathan, just loves
being close enough to watch the players on the bench. The
perspective they had was outstanding.
Just one point of information for
you, there is no parking available at the hotel. All cars
are parked off-site at a fee of $48.00 per day. I just wanted
you to know because you had mentioned a fee of $40.00.
It had been 24 years since my husband
and I had been to New York (for our honeymoon) and we were
so thrilled to see how Mayor Giuliani’s hard work
has paid off. We will not wait so long for a return trip.
If my daughter has her way, we will be back shopping in
SoHo in November. What a perfect time.
Kory, I look forward to working
with you again soon! All the best to you and thanks.
Best wishes,
Carol (on behalf of the family) |

Dear Sir or Madam:
This email is in reference to my pleasant experience dealing
with Continental Guest Services at the Westin Hotel in Times
Square. I approached one of your agents, Tony, regarding
purchasing tickets to the show, Wicked. Speaking to Tony
was a great pleasure because of his courtesy, professionalism
and knowledge. I am not familiar with obtaining tickets
to major Broadway shows, so Tony’s great insight was
tremendous and very informative. My stay at the Westin hotel
was wonderful, and seeing a major production like Wicked
made my trip to New York City complete. I never had the
chance to personally thank Tony for all of his assistance,
but I would definitely like to inform you of how pleased
I am with your company’s services. I will certainly
recommend the Westin Hotel and Continental Guest Services
to anyone who is planning a trip to New York City. Thank
you for all of your help and I am looking forward to using
Continental Guest Services in the future.
Sincerely,

Mara,
I've been wanting to write to tell
you what a wonderful time we had in NYC. The Waldorf was
absolutely beautiful and Mamma Mia was terrific. I can't
stop singing Abba music! We had so much fun that we may
want to go again in February or March. I'll contact you
when we are ready to start making plans so we can go through
your group for another package.
Thanks for all you help,

PS: Alfredo's was great also -
we would definitely go back there again. |

Dear Mara,
I just wanted to thank you once again for helping to

We had a wonderful time and we will certainly use you again.

I wanted to take a moment to
say a few kind words of appreciation for the efforts made
by Mara over the last few weeks, in handling the booking
of our upcoming family trip to New York.
She has been quick, courteous and thorough, and has
made the whole experience to-date positive and enjoyable.
In the last few days, we faced changes in dates and even
the possibility of having to cancel, and Mara provided all
the information and options in a supportive way. And, she
also managed to score superb tickets to "Phantom",
one of the anticipated highlights of our trip.
I appreciate the opportunity to say "thanks for
a job well done", and am recommending your organization's
services to everyone I know who is interested in a visit
to your excellent city.

Hi Nicole
I thought I would just drop you a quick note now we have
returned home to the UK to thank you for all your help in
organising the limo, theatre and helicopter ride for us.
The seats at the theatre were wonderful and the helicopter
ride was a once in a life time experience. With the help
of you and all the staff at the Roosevelt Hotel it made
our trip to New York very special and hopefully we will
come back soon both to New York and the Roosevelt
Many thanks again

Hi Mara,
back from our trip from NY. It was awesome but soo hot and
humid! The Broadway show and seats were fantastic and turned
out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Disney doesn't
do anything half way, even the theatre was beautiful. So
memorable and great hotel, good service, nice bed and clean.
Thanks again for helping us make our 10th Anniversary unforgettable.

Hello Kory:
Just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the
hotel, bus tour tickets and the tickets to Spamelot. The
seats were wonderful and the play was great. The Roosevelt
was beautiful and the staff and service were excellent.
The weather was wonderful (which I know you didn't do),
but the help you gave me and the job you did booking and
helping me to plan my trip was excellent.
Although my husband has been, I had never been to NYC and
was worried about the accommodations and trying to obtain
tickets from a reputable company. Since my husband was so
busy, I had to help out and thank goodness I found Continental's
website and you. I will never forget your help and will
definitely book my next NYC vacation through you. I have
also not stopped telling people about NYC and your company,
it was a wonderful experience.
Well, you have a great summer and I hope to be back again
at Christmas, but definitely next spring. Bravo to you and
Continental and thanks again for all your help.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Moore:
I am writing to commend the excellent
service I received at the Park Central Hotel on November
5-8, 2004. During this period of time, I was cared for by
“Ed,” Who was superb in every way. Ed was knowledgeable,
concise, polite, and extremely efficient from my first request,
to my last.
The weekend was incredibly busy,
due to the New York City Marathon, and the crush of visitors
(including myself). During this stressful period, Ed remained
calm, polite, unflappable, and I saw him work at least 12
hours on one occasion, helping each customer’s needs.
As a first time visitor to New
York City, I was prepared for the all of the brusque, rude,
and impolite stories I had heard about the Big Apple. Ed’s
sterling performance and demeanor put these issues to rest,
and prepared the way for a very pleasant, though hectic,
Marathon weekend.
I am hopeful that you can appreciate
Ed’s services, and employment, as much as I enjoyed
dealing with him.
Very sincerely yours,
Steven |

Hi, Nicole!
We got home and want to go back!! We loved NYC! Thank
YOU for all your expertise and help! We felt we had the
best of everything for the little time we had! The dinner
cruise was just the perfect way to end our stay! We met
several people (a couple from NYC and another from Georgia!)
which lent great conversation to the excellent dinner. And
the farewell to Lady Liberty and her lighted torch was emotional
to all on board.
The play was great...the ‘loop’ tours were
just what we needed...and of course, the cruise...what more
can I say?
Again, thank you for all your help and wonderful guidance.
I am sorry we did not get to meet. You were on the telephone
with customers both times we came to the tour/play reservation
windows...maybe next time.

I'm sure you don't remember me,
but you purchased four tickets for me in the Orchestra section

Dear Michelle,
Please forgive the lateness of this note, and the method.
A letter will be forthcoming.
Thank you so very much for planning a most splendid

The seats were great, and your assistance was invaluable.
I will elaborate more in my letter. In the meantime, thank
you for everything.

To whom it may concern:
I wanted to drop you a quick note
about the great experience I had working with Jordan at
the Metropolitan Hotel. I was recently at the hotel and
Jordan was great about making several food reservations
for my girlfriend at me at numerous fine restaurants on
short notice and then was able to secure VIP seats for the
Christmas Spectacular on less than 24 hours notice. He's
a valuable asset to your company and I wish I could steal
him away to work for me.
Best regards,

I had to write you to tell you
how wonderful Michelle is. She helped me by getting a Hotel/Theater/Dinner
package for a wedding gift that I needed to give to my friends.
She was sweet, helpful, warm and got me exactly what I wanted.
She was so wonderful, that whenever I spoke to her, it was
if I had known her forever.
She has marvelous candor, something that is a rare commodity
when it comes to dealing with the public. I felt as if I
was talking to my friend. Whatever my lingo was, she understood
it and because of that, my friends were ecstatic with their
gift. She was so easy to deal with and extremely knowledgeable
on what she does.
She deserves praise. Thank you for having her in the position
she's in!

Dear Nicole
I felt I must write to say thank you for organising the
Tours and show, we had a great time. The Seats were magic!!
Just in the right spot.
It's a great City and we walked many blocks and were blessed
by good weather. The helicopter flight and boat trips were
on clear mild days and what a view from the Empire State
Building, day and night. We also found the Rainbow Room
in the Rockefeller Center and had 2 great meals, one on
Angies birthday, had photos taken.
Thanks again and best wishes for the holidays

Hi Mara,
I wanted to drop you a quick message
today. My wife and I both would like to thank you for all
your efforts in making our stay in New York comfortable

After all was said and done,
the Halka's had a great time in NYC! Glad the snow did not
completely ruin the plan. We found the accommodations at
the Westin Times Square to be very good - tho' the room
was small as is typical for the City, it was quite apparent
that it had been recently renovated and the space was used
very efficiently. We all agreed the "heavenly bed"
is wonderful. The hotel is as modern in decor as the Plaza
is old-fashioned -- I find that each has special appeal.
I hope you will tell your
manager just how much we appreciate everything you personally
did for us in not only lining up all the arrangements, but
also helping make the changes to our schedule as we grew
nervous about the storm. It made all the difference to know
someone had our interests at heart -- and we thank you very,
very much!
'Til next time,

To whom it
may concern,
Around May 19 of this year I was
a guest and the NYC Sheraton. During my stay I interacted
with one of your theater ticket agents. I did not learn
her last name, but her first name was Janet.
I asked for theater ticket to ‘Wicked’
on less than 24 hours notice and witnessed a truly dedicated
and enthusiastic employee at work: Janet.
Not only had she very patiently
laid out my options, but she then proceeded to contact a
whole series of brokers to obtain a ticket for me.
I understand, of course, that this
is her job. But she went about it with true enthusiasm and
care. I had the feeling that she felt personally invested
in my ability to see the show. This investment and cheerful
interactions with me made the experience at your hotel truly
memorable. I am sure that Janet helps scores of your guests
every day, most of them presumably asking the same questions
and aspiring to the same tickets. But from observing Janet
I would have thought that I was the only one of her charges
that day.
Best regards,

with 2 teen-age daughters!

Hi Betty:
We are back in Arizona and just wanted to say thank you
for all of your help and personal attention to our requests.
We had an enchanting time and both the show and tennis were

Thank you, again. Your city is magical and we hope to be

Hi Mara,
The Casablanca Hotel was wonderful!!
My room was lovely -- attractively decorated, immaculate
and very comfortable. The bathroom was also quite nice --
larger than most and also very nice décor. The staff
were friendly and helpful. The breakfast in Rick's Café
was very good. I truly enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate

I am writing to you to compliment
the services of Michael at your concierge desk. I have stayed
at the Marriot Eastside several times, and several times
he has assisted me in securing tickets to the theater and
arranging various dinner reservations. During my last trip
to the US he went beyond the call of duty to secure us tickets
to The Producers. He followed up 3 times with the ticket

Your concierge, Kathleen, at the
NYC East Side is a princess – we’re convinced!
She’s graceful, endearing, and fantastic on follow-up.
She’s one of the most proactive people we’ve
ever met. She’s given us fantastic recommendations
on shows, helped us arrange an automobile test drive, gotten
my wife and her friend into an exclusive lounge, and is
always helpful when we needed ideas to plan our day, or
to find a nice park/playground for our baby. She knows the
city and what’s happening – we make a point
of having her fill us with “what to do” info
every time we’re in New York. We are impressed that
she cares for everyone – you couldn’t have selected
a better ambassador and we’re glad to have met Kathleen! |

Dear Kathleen,
Thank you for your extraordinary
results in securing 2 perfect seats for “Rent”
on such short notice. My 15 year old son is very excited.
This will be a great experience for him; he has somehow
become a fan of the musical even though he has never seen
it. Therefore, to have such great seats makes all the difference.
Sincerely,
Vince |

Hi Nicole
We just got back today from a great trip to New York; could
not believe the weather.
Thank you so much for all your arrangements which went very
well as the President luckily had left town by the time
of our helicopter tour. It was a great flight and the views
were superb.
We did all the sights and headed straight up the Empire
State on our first night. I am glad my daughter had been
before and knew here way around! I probably would still
be wandering around otherwise; the first sight of the New
York traffic will live in my mind forever and I will never
complain about working in Oxford Street again. You guys
dice with death every time you cross the road!
I fell in love with NYC and will definitely be back.
And a big thank you for the lovely key ring.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Best wishes for the future and kind regards.

Dear Michelle,
Thank you, thank you, thank you
for all you did to make our "Night on the Town"
perfect. Everything worked, everything flowed and we will
be talking about it (and you, who made it happen) for a
long, long time, including how wonderful it was to watch
the whole thing unfold beneath your fingers. That was totally
cool.
Take care, have a beautiful Autumn
and know that we will call you again.
Sincerely,
Kyle |

Hi Nicole
I am just back from my holiday to America and want to thank
you for making all the arrangements for my trip to New York.
It was absolutely fantastic! New York was everything I thought
it would be and more besides - I will definitely be back
at some point. It was amazing seeing everything and the
tour itself (and the guide) was great and I now see why
its called Comprehensive - I think we saw everything we
could see. My mum also loved every minute.
Thank you for your kind note left at the hotel with the
tickets. It is very comforting to know that all the arrangements
have been made beforehand. The Lion King was brilliant and
we are so glad we picked it.
I hope to be able to contact you again in the future as
I will definitely have to visit New York again.
Many thanks for all your help.
Kind regards
Suzanne |
